MANEUVER STUDY
Maneuvering Study of Pier No. 3 of the Siderperú SAA Port Terminal

GAPASH developed the Maneuvering Study of Pier No. 3 of the Chimbote Port Terminal for SIDERPERÚ SAA, in accordance with the guidelines established in Directoral Resolution No. 1314-2016-MGP/DGCG, which regulates the procedures and technical requirements for the preparation, processing and approval of this type of study before the National Maritime Authority.
The study included an evaluation of the terminal's operating conditions, the design characteristics of the vessels, the meteorological and oceanographic conditions of the area, as well as an analysis of the approach, berthing, unberthing and departure maneuvers required to ensure safe operations within the port facility.
As a result, the Maneuvering Study was approved by DICAPI, providing the necessary technical support for the safe operation of vessels at Pier No. 3 and compliance with the requirements demanded by current maritime regulations.
