GAPASH developed the bathymetric survey of the aquatic area of the Multibuoy Port Terminal No. 2 of Refinería La Pampilla SAA, with the objective of characterizing the seabed and determining the georeferenced location of the main underwater components associated with the operation of the terminal.

The surveys were conducted using a high-resolution multibeam echosounder, providing complete coverage of the seabed and generating detailed digital models of the study area. Data acquisition was complemented by precision GNSS positioning systems and tidal corrections referenced to geodetic control points, ensuring the quality and reliability of the information obtained.

As part of the project scope, the identification and georeferencing of the underwater hydrocarbon transport pipeline was carried out, as well as associated elements such as the PLEM, spool, hoses, buoys and other operational components of the terminal.

The information gathered made it possible to generate updated bathymetric maps, digital models of the underwater terrain and high-precision geospatial databases, constituting a fundamental tool for the management of underwater assets, the planning of inspections, the maintenance of infrastructure and the support of future engineering activities and port operations.
