GAPASH carried out the work of determining the location and inspection of the Copeinca submarine outfall in Chancay, with the objective of verifying its route, physical condition and operational status.

The project included a bathymetric survey using a multibeam echosounder, georeferencing of the infrastructure using high-precision GNSS systems, and a detailed underwater inspection by certified professional divers. These activities allowed for the identification of the current location of the outfall pipe, the assessment of the condition of the pipeline and its associated components, and the verification of the condition of the ballast and support elements.

The information obtained served to compare the actual location of the infrastructure with the positions authorized by the competent entities, including ANA, DICAPI and PRODUCE, providing an updated technical basis for the management, maintenance and decision-making related to the operation of the submarine outfall.
